About Me

Hi. I'm just a bear floating around the internet. This is my About Me page, or as some people around these parts say, "About the Webmaster". Haha, I can't imagine hyping myself up with such a title.

My username everywhere is Isactuallyabear or some variation of that. I'm 28 years old, my pronouns are she/they, and I was born and raised in Northern California. I was diagnosed with autism as a toddler and that knowledge has shaped my identity. I'm also a transgender enby-ish woman.

I grew up on TV, video games, and the internet. Which I've spent countless hours on. They've shaped my development so much that I'd probably be a completely different person if I was born 100 years ago. These days I'm chronically online, I'll admit.

Whenever my face isn't fixed on a screen, my head is usually in the clouds. Fantasizing about all sorts of things, like about my favorite games, TV shows, webcomics, stories and fanfics. It's been this way since I was little and I'm not sure it'll ever stop being this way.

I'd love to make awesome art and beautiful stories someday, and have been attempting to learn how to make this happen for some time now (especially the writing).

I've wanted to put myself out there in some way for a long time now. To have some sort of project that others can enjoy that I can show off. Then I discovered Neocities and learned the perfect solution. Why not make a website of my own and share whatever I want with people? A lovely bonus to that is that my own website is a form of pretty art for me to look at. Gosh do I love shiny, colorful things.
